LG surprised us recently with details of a new phone called the LG eXpo that also came supplied with a detachable Pico projector. The LG eXpo is a Windows Mobile 6.5 device that has the S-Class interface overlayed on to it. This brings the 3D cube menu system to the WM device as well as new menus, new contacts and a new virtual QWERTY keyboard.
From the video (seen below), you’ll see the phone seems to function well and be quite responsive. However, the big unique feature is that you can attach a small pico projector to the eXpo that allows a larger image of what’s on the screen to be projected on to the wall.
Other features of the phone include a 5 megapixel camera, microSD card slot for increasing storage as well as the usual Wi-Fi and other connectivity you find in phones these days.

Very cool phone. Saw the commercial and couldn’t believe it. I can see laptops offering that built in projector next, or at least a small size projector like that would be great to have for compact business use.
Well their has been tiny pico projectors for a long time now, and the plans for this phone are quite old, samsung will have their own out soon. Samsung i7410 😀
