Apple to Drop Restocking Fees at Apple Stores as of Jan 11

Tomorrow is being reported as the day that Apple will be dropping restocking fees in its Apple stores. The current procedure requires that you pay 10% if you return an item within 14 days that has been taken out of its box. Now that the restocking fee will be gone, you’ll be able to return a product or exchange it without incurring any extra fees.

The restocking announcement hasn’t officially been made yet from what we can find and 9to5Mac where the rumor started has only commented that the information has come from sources although they don’t mention who they are.

January 11 also marks the day that the Verizon iPhone could be announced. Verizon is holding an event tomorrow where it is believed that we’ll finally see AT&T lose exclusivity.
