Yahoo! has pushed out a new update for Yahoo! Messenger on the iPhone. The Messenger update brings a number of features to the iPhone such as the ability to make video calls from iOS to iOS, iOS to PC or iOS to Android devices.
Voice calls have also been added to the service which allows you to call friends on a PC or other supported devices. The ability to make voice calls to landlines and mobiles is also available (in various countries) although this eats in to the minutes of your Yahoo! account it used. [Read more…]

Over at the Windows Phone 7 launch event in the UK, an interesting bit of information was provided that indicated Copy and Paste was coming to Windows Phone 7 in early 2011.
Today, Microsoft [MSFT] officially unveiled Windows Phone 7 for launch. Information at launch reveals that nine new Windows Phone 7 smartphones will be launching over the next few weeks with Europe and Asia launching on October 21 and US launches being held on November 8.
The Samsung Focus was announced today. The Focus is a new Windows Phone 7 device that has a price tag of $199.99 and will launch sometime in the middle of November.

Today at the Windows Phone 7 launch event, AT&T [T] announced three new Windows Phone 7 devices. The first of these is the LG Quantum. The Quantum will be the first Windows Phone 7 to launch in the US on the AT&T network. The launch date is November 8 and it will come with a price tag of $199.99. Outside of the US, the LG Quantum will be called the Optimus 7Q.
Another early outing has happened for O2 in the UK. This time its the HTC HD7 that was outed early (planned?). The HTC HD7 release date for those wanting it on the O2 network is October 21.

We know a lot of things about the Samsung Galaxy Tab now. However, pricing is still a little unknown in some areas. We hear reports today that the Galaxy Tab on T-Mobile in the US will have a price tag of $399 after a $50 mail in rebate. This looks to be a subsidized price as the full price is listed as $649.99 as seen in the image below.
