Atari 7800 Portable by Ben Heck
June 20, 2008
Ben Heck… the super talented moder, has added another console to his massive retro custom built library of stuff by creating a portable Atari 7800. According to his site, the project was supposed to start a few years back, but due to the complexity over the Atari 2600 he got cold feet… until now.
The Portable 7800 Atari features a 7 inch widescreen display, runs on rechargeable batteries and has an A/V output jack.
For those of you who do not have cold feet and are up for the challenge, you can see Ben’s detailed instructions on how to make it your self. I wont be one of those trying as I would mess it up right at the start, but for those who are skilled in those areas I recommend trying to build your own, just for fun.
