Some leaked documents of a UK carriers roadmap reveal that October 21 is the release date for Windows Phone 7.
The actual phone appears to be called the Windows 7Phone and has a launch date of 21st Oct according to the document. It is listed in between the Samsung Europa and a BlackBerry device. A few technical specs have been revealed showing that this particular device will have a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera as well as access to over 2000 apps at launch in the Windows Marketplace.
Other than that the carrier is not known. It is expected that the phone pictured above is a Samsung device although this isn’t confirmed.
