We hear today that the Windows Phone 7 update will be “MASSIVE” and that the release date could be sometime in January.
Features that it might bring to the new smartphone OS includes Copy/Paste, Bing turn-by-turn navigation as well as improvements to that surface. Multi-tasking is expected (in some shape or form) and custom ring tones are supported.
Chris Walsh has commented that this update has taken Microsoft [MSFT] three months to create and also goes on to say that it took Apple three years to get to this point.
Lets see if the new update, when it arrives, can allow the device to capture up to the sales that Apple sees.
