Windows 8 Scheduled for 2012

Microsoft [MSFT] could be releasing the next version of Windows in the next couple of years in 2012. The information comes from the bottom of a press release from the Netherlands that says (translated to English, by a computer of course)…

“Furthermore, Microsoft is of course the next version of Windows. But it will take about two years before “Windows 8″ on the market.”

This small snippet of text also backs up what a leaked roadmap said recently.

Of course this date could change and its no where near being set in stone just yet, but for those already bored of Windows 7 but wanting to stay with Microsoft, it seems you have just a couple of years of waiting left.
