Tmonews is reporting that the T-Mobile G2 has gone on sale early. It isn’t clear if this is at all locations around the US, or if it is just in some select stores and early.
The official release date is supposed to be a couple of days away on October 6 although it seems it is now becoming available now (or as of yesterday).
It isn’t clear why T-Mobile released the G2 early, but perhaps it was to do with RadioShack selling the phone on October 3 instead of the 6th.
The phone its self runs the Android 2.2 operating system. It has a slide out (or pop out as is the preferred name) QWERTY keyboard and looks set to be a fantastic device.
We’ll keep an eye out to see if the early release is “all stores” or not.
