The Sony NEX-5 is one of the latest cameras from Sony. It is a small camera that measures about the size of a Cybershot camera, but uses digital SLR lenses.
The camera is available now from Jessops and has a price tag of £589.
The camera it’s self looks good. It’s small compact body with the larger lens makes it a little more unique than other cameras. The specs are quite impressive too with it having a 14.2 megapixel sensor and an ISO range of 200 – 12800.
The downside is that the NEX-5 didn’t score too well in the review it had done recently (linked above) due to a long list of problems. Still worth having a look at though to test as it might work well for what you need it to do.
