It seems that the Android 2.1 is being delayed again for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. This time it’s for those users who own it on the AT&T network in the US.
The reason for this particular delay is a little vague to be honest. It has been put down to some rigorous testing that caused some technical requirements not to be met. ie, it could be AT&T who are being very strict with what can and cannot land on its network.
Of course, the Android 2.1 update is still 1 place back in terms of being the latest and in the next few weeks when Android 2.3 launches, it will fall back another place putting X10 owners even further behind when compared to its competition.
