Samsung has created a very nice laptop which surprisingly is lighter then the MacBook Air. It weighs just 1.27Kg which is 0.09Kg lighter then the Air. It seems like they are jumping on to this thin and light train following Apple and HP with some potential success.
The Samsung X360 has a 13.3 inch screen and is powered by a Centrino 2 ULV processor. On the memory side there is a hefty 4GB RAM and for storage it uses SSD (solid state storage) which will be 128GB which again, is a hefty amount of storage for SSD. Although this thing is tiny and light weight it certainly still gives plenty of options such as three USB ports, a built-in HDMI connection, 34mm ExpressCard slot, 7 in 1 memory card reader, Ethernet and a VGA output. The list doesn’t stop there either as it has a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and Wi-fi at 802.11a/b/g/n specifications. The battery is reported to give a life of 6 – 10 hours on a single charge.
The Samsung X360 will be available sometime this month and will cost around £1200.
