Samsung has made the Series 5 Ultrabook available for pre-order in the US. The new ultrabooks have price tags of $899.99 and $949.99.
Two models are available for pre-order with one having a 13 inch screen and the other with a 13.3 inch screen.
Each of the Series 5 ultrabook models are similar. Each has a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 500GB of storage. 16GB of SSD storage cache is also included. Each display is capable of 1366 x 768 pixels.
Graphics is provided by an integrated Intel chip. For connectivity there’s Bluetooth 3.0, Ethernet (Gigabit) as well as 802.11a/b/g/n. HDMI and a 4 in 1 card slot is also available. USB 2.0 is also available with two ports.
We don’t have any details on shipping yet although we expect to see more information as well as these particular models at CES next week.
