Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Could get NVIDIA Tegra 2 Chipset

Reports today are indicating that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 could sport an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset when the tablet launches next year.

The rumors come from a semiconductor analyst called Ambrish Srivastava from BMO Capital Markets who suggests that the Galaxy Tab 2 as well as many other similar devices will come with that chipset installed.

Of course, Samsung has already created a dual-core successor to the Hummingbird found in the Galaxy Tab, so logically you’d think that Samsung would carry on doing what they do. Also, analysts often are not right from the rumors we have seen over the last year, so take this one with a pinch of salt for now and we’ll see what CES 2011 brings.
