Samsung Galaxy Nexus Designed to Avoid Apple Patent Problems

Samsung is very aware that any device they launch will be scrutinized by Apple to see if any patents have been violated. With this in mind, Samsung has designed the new Galaxy Nexus with the intention of avoiding all patent problems.

The Mobile chief of Samsung said: “Now we will avoid everything we can and take patents very seriously.” Of course, Apple could still find something to argue with and if there is something there it likely will take action against Samsung.

Although Apple has temporarily got the lead in a couple of countries Samsung has reported that it is still doing extremely well with tablet sales being up five fold when compared to 2010. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy S class of smartphones also continue to do well with over 30 million of them sold since last year.
