Three Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.2 Update Now Available

The Three network in the UK is starting to push out the Android 2.2 update to Samsung Galaxy S smartphones locked on its network.

Three, just like other networks, is unable to push out the Android 2.2 update OTA to the Samsung Galaxy S which means users will need to connect up to the KIES software tool to grab the update.

For those on the T-Mobile network, you’ll still need to wait longer as T-Mobile keep delaying the launch. The latest we have heard on the T-Mob network is that they will have an update sometime this week.

As for Android 2.3, don’t expect it any time soon, if at all for the Samsung Galaxy S. With the amount of time it took to push 2.2 out we think that Android 3.0 will be available by the time 2.3 lands on the smartphone.
