Nokia Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Could Land 2011

We are hearing reports today that indicate that Nokia could be looking at creating a Nokia Windows Phone 7 device, perhaps next year.

Last time we heard of something like this, it was related to the Android operating system hitting Nokia. At that point, it was basically laughed off by Anssi Vanjoki who was the Mobile VP.

What adds a bit of credibility to this new rumor is the person who is speaking about it. This time, Eldar Murtazin says that Nokia will create… “an entire line of Windows Phone devices that may go under the name Nokia [translated].”

Murtazin has some good connections within Nokia and often manages to let us know what’s happening before Nokia announce things.

We’ll certainly have to keep an eye out for this one as some believe the Symbian OS is what lets Nokia down although Symbian^3 is getting closer to the mark.
