Amazon have created a list of the best netbooks costing under $350 that run the new Windows 7 OS. A number of them have received a discount to bring them under the $350 bracket which means you are getting a higher priced netbook for a better price.
Netbooks included in the offer include the always favourite ASUS Eee 1005HA, along with another top seller, the Acer Aspire One as well as many others such as Dell, HP, Gateway to name a few (full list can be found here).
A quick run down of what to look for when buying a netbook is first, screen size which I recommend any netbook with a 10 inch screen or larger and a good battery life (such as the 1005HA which with Windows 7 runs for 8.5 hours on a single charge). Memory on each of these netbooks is 1GB which is sufficient for browsing the web and using the netbook for day to day tasks. CPU speed is also roughly the same on all these netbooks at 1.6GHz. The main difference you need to look at is choosing what size drive you want. Most of them are either 160GB or 250GB.
