NavFree for the iPhone has launched in the US. The NavFree app is free, as the name suggests, and brings navigation to the iPhone and iPad.

The NavFree app has been available in the UK for a while now and already has 700,000 users who have downloaded it.
The app lets you navigate to any address in the US as well as lets you navigate to a point of interest.
Maps are community driven and are updated, free of charge, once a month. Also, maps can be downloaded to your iPhone or iPad so that if you go out of a signal area, you can continue to be navigated as normal. The NavFree app is available from iTunes.
