Microsoft Kinect Sensor – $150 and Ready for Pre-Order

Microsoft [MSFT] has revealed that the Microsoft Kinect will cost $149.99. The price was confirmed on the Microsoft store website where the Kinect just went up and has been made available for pre-order.

The official shipping date is not revealed although we expect that it isn’t too far away with pre-orders being made available just now.

The Kinect was announced at E3 last week where we found out that Kinect was the official name of Project Natal. Full details of what it can do and what’s included in the box are found below.

Requirements include an Xbox 360 to connect it to, 6 feet of space between you and the sensor and of course, yourself to jump around in front of the camera.
