LG will soon launch a smartphone that has a HD display. The resolution of the screen will be 1280 x 720 pixels. The new phone is called the LG LU6200 and is expected to launch on September 26. The device will become LGs flagship phone.
The HD screen measures 4.5 inches. Other features include the usual connectivity of WiFi, Bluetooth as well as the ability to connect to an LTE network. It also has an NFC chip inside. The processor powering the device is a dual-core 1.5GHz. Other features include an 8 megapixel camera on the back with a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front.
The device runs Google Android although the specific version is not known at the moment. We suspect it will be Android 2.3 at launch though. It isn’t known if the device will launch outside of Korea but when we get more details we’ll provide an update. Another set of pictures can be found below:
