Lenovo C200 gets NVIDIA ION 2 and a Dual-Core Atom

Lenovo have announced the Lenovo C200 all-in-one computer today. The C200 has an 18.5 inch HD display in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an NVIDIA ION graphics processor with up to 256MB of RAM.

The all-in-one C200 is touchscreen, although not multitouch, and the computer runs an Intel Atom Dual Core D510 processor. Inside you’ll find a DVD reader and writer along with stereo speakers. A built in webcam allows for conference calls to be made. The webcam is built by Lenovo and is their High-Sense Webcam that has a large lens and allows for decent video to be captured even when lighting situations are not the best.

‘The Lenovo C200 with NVIDIA ION is an ideal way to meet the ˜info-tainment’ needs of today’s digital family. Its snappy graphics and big screen are perfect for accessing the Internet, sharing family photos, playing casual games together, or enjoying the latest online videos in high definition, said David Ragones, director of ION and GeForce product marketing, NVIDIA.

When launched the Lenovo C200 all-in-one PC will cost from $399 to $499 depending on if you opt for the NVIDIA ION 2 graphics chipset and the touchscreen. The standard $399 model lacks both.

Release dates are not known just yet although from our understanding the Lenovo C200 is just around the corner so to speak.
