The Microsoft Kinect has been used to create a Minority Report style computer interface. The hack was achieved by students at MIT who managed to use Kinect drivers for Linux and make a program that can detect all 10 fingers on your hands as well as the palms of your hands.
This particular Kinect Hack brings the interface closest to how the Minority report runs. The video has been embedded below that allows you to see what is happening and what can be achieved with the Kinect and some imagination. We expect more hacks will keep on rolling in to further improve this one as well as new and interesting ideas.
