Sanwa Supply has created a new projector for the iPhone 4 and 4S that simply slides on to the Apple smartphone and allows a screen of up to 65 inches to be projected. The device is a DLP micro projector that has a resolution of 640×360 pixels and a contract ratio of 1,000:1.
The projector case takes about 5 hours to charge and allows for about 2.5 hours of usage which will generally be enough to cover a full movie or long presentation.
The case is unique in that it also works as a battery extender. When the projector isn’t running you can use the device to provide more juice to the iPhone which essentially doubles the battery life of the phone.
The price of the 400-PRJ011 is around $260 although it is only available in Japan at the moment.
