iPad Users Are Happy with Their Purchase

Reports are indicating that customers of Apple [AAPL] who purchased an iPad are generally happy with that purchase.

The information comes from the American Customer Satisfaction Index that shows 4% more people are happier with their computer purchases when compared to last year.

The report shows 78 on the ASCI 100-point scale which is 4 more than last year.

Although the 78 figure represents personal computer owners, Apple specifically saw a 2% rise to 86 points putting it 9 points ahead of competition.

“The iPad, even at this early stage, pulled up Apple’s overall numbers – which makes it the highest-scoring product Apple has, and therefore the highest-scoring product ACSI has ever tracked.”

It’s certainly interesting to see that a single product can have that much effect. I wonder if the Samsung Galaxy Tab, when launched, will bump up Samsungs numbers a little.
