The iOS 4.1 release date is rumoured to be today. Although it hasn’t landed just yet, we see that Game Center has gone live which indicates the iOS 4.1 update is ready to be pushed out.
Game Center was previously only open to developers. After wiping all Game Center accounts out yesterday, Apple [AAPL] now allows developers to set up new accounts.
Keep your eye out on iTunes for the update landing which could be in the next 2 to 3 hours if it follows previous trends in regards to timing.
We’ll keep an eye open for this one to see if it does indeed launch today.
