Seems like progress is being made with the iOS 4.1 jailbreak. The Chronic Dev-Team is behind this one who posted a very brief update on the GreenPois0n tool that they are launching.
The tool is designed to jailbreak all iOS 4.1 devices as well as past versions of iOS.
Many people in the comments are asking for a progress update. Any kind of update that we could actually give would be too technical for anyone to understand anyway, not to mention potentially reveal the exploit. Just know that things are going swimmingly and we are working as hard as we can.
The only good bit of information there is that progress is going swimmingly which we assume means it wont be too long before it is launched.
So although no official iOS 4.1 jailbreak release date has been provided, it does appear that the team are getting there and that a tool will be launched sooner rather than later.
