BlackBerry App World has received an update bringing it to version 2.1 RIM has announced.
The new version opens up the platform for in-app purchases and closely matches what Google is offering with its new web based Android Market.
App World 2.1 is expected to roll out throughout today, so if you don’t see it yet, check back a little later.
The SDK for this was rolled out to developers last month on January 5 which means we should expect apps any day now that use the new in-app payment functionality.
