The huBox is a practical idea that converges three uses in to one device. The huBox is a physical storage box that measures 10 x 10 x 5 CM allowing for various things to be stored inside. Also included is an SD card reader allowing pictures from your camera to be transferred to your PC.
As well as being a storage device and SD card reader the huBox also acts as a USB hub that has 3 USB 2.0 ports that can transfer data up to 480Mbps.
The gadget is compatible with both Windows based PC’s and Mac systems and will be made available at GeekStuff4U “soon” according to Akihabaranews. The price at the moment is unknown.
This is a nifty gadget. I especially love the many different uses that it has. The style is a little boxy. Who knows? Maybe in the future the design may be a little smaller. I hope you wouldn’t have to download software to use this device because that would make it so much easier.
