HTC Touch Diamond 2 Review

htc_touch_diamond2SlashGear got their hands on the HTC Touch Diamond 2 and have given it a full review. The phone is slightly larger in all dimensions then the Original diamond. Will it be any good?

The Diamond 2 has a 5 megapixel camera on the back providing fairly decent photo quality. It’s not quite the 8 of some phones but with such a small lens on mobile phones you won’t get the highest quality anyway. The phone has a USB port on the bottom allowing it to be charged and synced via USB cable. Audio signals are also sent through the connector.

Connectivity wise it includes HSDPA at 900 and 2100MHz as well as a GSM/GPRS and EDGE compatibility at 850/900/1800 and 1900MHz frequencies. Wifi can also be found in the device that is b/g compliant. Also Bluetooth 2.0+EDR is to be found in there. The touchscreen measures 3.2 inches which is slightly larger then the 2.8″ from the original Diamond. It runs a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA).

The HTC Touch Diamond 2 runs the Windows 6.1 OS. It looks like a very slick phone and it’s well worth checking out the review over at Slashgear.
