More details about the HTC Ruby have been leaked. The details reveal that the device will have a qHD screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels. The screen will measure 4.3 inches. We also learn that it will use a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and have an 8 megapixel camera.
RAM on this particular device will be 1GB. Storage capacity will be 16GB which can be further expanded by another 32GB (not confirmed) with microSD. Although we refer to the device here as the HTC Ruby, we’ve also heard it will actually launch as the HTC Amaze when it arrives on the T-Mobile network. The operating system is expected to be Android 2.3 Gingerbread. We also hear it will use HTC Sense 3.5.
Expect to hear more in the coming weeks about the launch date of the device. At the moment we can only speculate by saying it will be in the next couple of months. We also don’t know pricing of the device yet.
