HTC Desire spotted on T-Mobile UK

If you are after a HTC Desire in the UK and the T-Mobile network works well for you then for £35/month you can pick up the handset for free. T-Mobile confirm on the site that shipping will take up to 7 days which aligns closely with when Amazon are shipping the SIM free variant of the phone.

Another good deal that T-Mobile has is a 24 month contract at £15/month where you can purchase the phone for £129 which isn’t a bad deal at all. With the £15/month price plan you get 300 minutes, 300 texts and the usual unlimited (limited to 1GB) internet connectivity although from my experience with T-Mobile I’ve only got close to the limit once in the last 3 years.

If you opt for the free phone on the £35/month price plan your text/voice call allowance jumps to 500 messages and 1200 minutes.

The HTC Desire is set to be another fantastic Android based device that runs the Sense UI. The Desire has a 5 megapixel camera and a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen. With the screen being AMOLED it allows for a very clear image to be seen onscreen.

Available now to order on T-Mobile. [Engadget]

  1. spoke to an orange advisor today. they know that they will eventually stock the phone but have no details on when.

o2 seem to be in a similar position.

hopefully both make announcements within the next couple of weeks or they may lose some ground to tmobile, 3g, vodafone and even virgin who have all officially announced its march/april release.

im willing to jump to any network who stocks this phone. its going to be great!

HTC Desire is currently only available to NEW T-Mobile customer ONLY, existing customers waiting to upgrade will have to WAIT until Friday…..

And your starter for ten, how many handsets will they have available on friday, NONE because they will have all gone to NEW T-Mobile customers.

….doesn’t that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling that T-Mobile feel so strongly about their existing customers, at least all the other networks in the UK will be getting the Desire during the early part of April, so it looks like bye bye T-Mobile, hello vodafone, o2, orange, virgin or even three.
