HTC has announced that the Desire S and Thunderbolt will be receiving an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of this month. The announcement was made through Facebook which has been the way HTC has made these sorts of announcements for a while now.
As well as the Desire S and Thunderbolt getting the ICS update, several other devices that have also been previously detailed as getting the update will also receive it at the end of this month.
Although the announcement has been made, things could still go wrong for Desire S and Thunderbolt owners and HTC could miss the date although it is looking more likely at this later stage in the game.
