For those of you in the UK you can now go ahead and pre-order a HTC Desire, HTC Legend or HTC HD Mini (or all three if your crazy) over at Amazon in the UK.
Pricing for the HTC trio of phones is as follows (remembering you will be purchasing an unlocked model that isn’t subsidised)…
HTC Desire – £528.68
HTC Legend – £399.99
HTC HD Mini – £369.00 – Note an April 14 estimated release date.
Although prices seem quite high, it is because you have no contract and are buying an unlocked phone out right. What you might want to do is wait a month or so to see what the UK network operators offer the phone for as they tend to be way cheaper if you sign up on an 18 or 24 month contract for around £30 – £35. Of course you also need to weigh up which is really the best saving though as you are locked in and the overall price including the plan generally is more over the 18/24 month contract.
