The HTC Aria Android 2.2 update is beginning to roll out. Unfortunately it’s not for those of you on the AT&T [T] network in the US. Instead, the HTC support page in Southeast Asia mentions that Android 2.2 is being pushed out over in that region in the form of build 2.37.708.5.
That version is Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is also believed to include HTC Sense, tethering and improved enterprise support amongst other things.
The other downside is that there’s no mention of when the update will land in the US. So on one hand, it’s good to see some Aria somewhere is getting the official update, but on the other hand, we still don’t know when you’ll get it in the US.
