HP Folio 13 Ultrabook Announced

HP has announced the Folio 13 Ultrabook. It measures 0.7 inches thick and weighs 3.3 points which makes it a little heavier than the MacBook Air. One of the highlights of the Folio 13 is that it has a battery that has enough juice to power the ultrabook for up to 9 hours. These figures are of course theoretical and real world usage is often different.

The design of the Ultrabook shows that it has a metal outer shell, a backlit keyboard and a single-surface Imagepad for the trackpad.

Technical specs reveal that it has a 128GB SSD as standard along with 4GB of RAM. The processor is a 1.4GHz Core i3 although it has an optional 1.6GHz Core i5 for those interested in more power.

For connectivity and ports it has Ethernet, HDMI Out, USB 3.0 as well as a card reader. It also has WiFi.

Price wise, HP will be selling the standard unit for $899 when it launches on December 7th. More pictures of the Folio 13 can be found below:
