The GoToMeeting app from Citrix is being pre-loaded on to the DROID Bionic Android smartphone. This isn’t the first time that Motorola has teamed up with Citrix as the companies also did the same with the DROID 3 device as well.
We also hear today that Citrix is not only pre-installing on to the Bionic but that it is also making the app free on the Android Market so that others can download it without paying.
GoToMeeting is an enterprise app that is designed to let you join meetings from your Android smartphone. The requirements to run the app show that you need to have at least Android 2.2 installed. This particular download is just for Android smartphones. It isn’t clear if a Honeycomb optimised version will launch in the near future although comments on the Android Market hint that this is what users also want.
