Google Street View Now on All Continents

Last week, we reported on Google Street View hitting Antartica. We also note now that Street View is also available in Brazil and Ireland and is now available across all continents around the world.

Google Street View was first introduced in May of 2007. At launch the data was limited to just a few cities in the US although it quickly came to some parts of England. Moving closer to now, we can access almost any street in the UK and actually see a lot of of Street View imagery from around the world.

Although we love Street View here as it’s handy to see a picture of a street or place you are looking at, some people don’t agree and think its a privacy concern. If you do like the service though, check out the new available locations such as Ireland and Brazil to see what its like in other locations around the world.
