Google [GOOG] has launched a new app for Windows Phone 7 called Google Search. The new app allows you to get quick access to Google search allowing you to hunt through the web, images, local, news and other various options.
Although you could technically just open up the mobile browser to search, using the app helps you get there a little quicker as it can be pinned to Start and accessed with one click.
The application should be available in the market right now although Google has acknowledged that in some cases the app isn’t showing up. If you don’t see the app right now, just check back every hour or so as it could be just replicating across servers for example.
