Google Calendar Outlook 2010 Sync Now Available

Google [GOOG] has updated it’s Calendar Sync tool that now makes it possible to synchronise an Outlook 2010 calendar with Google Calendar.

The software previously only worked with Outlook versions up to 2007. The new version isn’t fully compatible just yet in that it cannot support 64 bit versions of Outlook 2010. However, if you run the 32-bit version of Outlook 2010 then you now have that much requested ability to synchronise the two together.

The new Sync software is version 0.9.3.6 and once installed you can enter your Google username and password for the system to start syncing up. The only options you need to set include the sync frequency which determines how often Google synchronises data across the two calendars.

If you are currently running an older version of the Sync software then you’ll need to update to the latest version to make it compatible with 2010.
