Firefox Home App Launching on iPhone Soon

Firefox Home is coming to the Apple iPhone soon. The Firefox Home service is a free app that allows you to have access to your desktop browsers bookmarks, history and open tabs.

Another feature included with the free app is Awesome Bar that allows you to quickly find popular websites with minimum typing.

The service is not a full firefox web browser for the iPhone and simply allows you to continue browsing where you left off when leaving home. The main features are listed below along with a video demonstration of how the new application works.

Why is this useful?
1. Left work in a hurry? You can pick up where you left off with access to the list of tabs you just had open on your desktop.
2. Need those directions to that restaurant you were just reading about on your desktop? The confirmation code for your flight? Just start typing in the Awesome Bar and those pages will be right at your fingertips.
3. Does it drive you crazy to have to enter the full URL on your iPhone that you’ve visited several times from your desktop? You won’t need to anymore with this app.

The application is just in development at the moment with a final version coming soon that will be sent to Apple [AAPL] for approval.
