The idea behind this concept display is to give the viewer depth to the movie they are watching. The screen achieves this goal by being a double layered LCD screen. By making a slight adjustment to the image displayed behind, the user will get a sense of depth to the images.
There isn’t much information yet as it’s just a concept, but the possibilities that this device could be used for are things like GPS navigation to give a more 3D sense of the road and digital photo frames.
The idea is good and probably possible to create now as it seems like all the technology is currently available to make it actually work.
