Commodore Invictus gets Inspiration from Eee Keyboard

Commodore has created an ASUS Eee Keyboard style device called the Commodore Invictus.

Not much is known about the device at the moment other than it being Ion-based. The touchscreen to the right of the keyboard uses resistive touch with a stylus. Wireless HDMI is built in and it is believed to have a 5+ hour battery installed.

It also appears to be running Windows XP from what we see on the small screen in the picture.

It is unclear exactly how these keyboard computer devices actually do as there seems to be very little interest in the ASUS Eee Keyboard. We assume that although they are a nice idea, the pricing is completely off at several hundred dollars for a product that probably wont get used that much around the home.

If we hear more from Commodore about the Invictus we’ll let you know although it seems this will be a fairly low profile gadget which will come and go in a matter of months.
