Most mobile phones have a plethora of gadgets and gizmos attached such as GPS, Bluetooth, MP3 capability, geo-tagging with a built in 8 mega pixel camera etc… Some people just want a phone, especially the elderly. The ClarityLife C900 is a phone that has just the basics making it ideal for those who just want something more simple to use.
The ClarityLife C900 is an unlocked GSM phone which brings ultra simplicity to the mobile. There are not many buttons on the front face as can be seen in the image. All you have is an answer and hang up button as well as a couple of arrows. On the back of the phone is a large red emergency button which when pressed for three seconds will send a text message out to five people letting them know you need help.
Unfortunately the phone is priced quite high at $280. I know for certain my grandma wouldn’t spend that on a contract free phone. Also there seems to be a lack of numeric keys which I doubt elderly people would have a problem with using.
