Chrome Flip HD’s now Available

Flip-HDI just spotted this morning that Flip are now selling their Flip HD cameras in Chrome now. For an extra £10 you can get the whole back plate chromed out.

Although not the most exciting of news today that I could have mentioned it’s still an option for those who like that little bit of extra classy look to what they own.

If you are not sure what a Flip HD is or a Chrome Flip HD for that matter, it’s a pocket sized USB video camera that as the name suggests, can capture video at HD resolutions. It gets it’s name from a flip-out USB arm which allows you to plug it in to your laptop and automatically transfer HD videos to Youtube. Only a few buttons can be found on the flip that includes on/off slider switch, record, stop, play, delete and directional controls. Dead simple to use!!!

Video is captured at 1280 x 768 pixels and depending on which model you get (ie, the MinoHD or UltraHD) you can shoot either 60 minutes or 120 minutes before having to backup the video to your PC.
