Blogshelf is an RSS reader app that gives the feeds you read a book like appearance. The software is built for the Apple iPad and makes use of the large screen to make feed reading more comfortable and easier to read.
The app looks similar to Apple’s [AAPL] own iBooks application in that it puts all your feeds on a bookshelf system where you can easily scroll through and tap to open the various feeds.
Other features include tools to set the brightness so you can read more easily in dark or bright situations. Font sizes can also be adjusted.
The Blogshelf app also gives readers the ability to read feeds in an offline mode. To switch between feeds you can use gestures to swipe left and right or the standard up and down gestures can be used to scroll the page up and down.
It looks like a decent app and one worth checking out if you don’t mind spending a few pounds. Right now it is priced at £2.99 in the UK and is available to buy here.
