BlackBerry PlayBook SDK and Simulator Announced

RIM has announced the PlayBook simulator as well as the SDK for the new and yet to be released tablet.

The new PlayBook SDK was announced along side the Adobe Air 2.5 announcement from earlier today and confirms that Air 2.5 users will soon be able to integrate with the SDK to create apps for the device.

With the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK for Adobe AIR, developers can leverage the uniquely powerful capabilities of the BlackBerry Tablet OS, as well as access all of the richness of Adobe AIR, to deliver incredibly engaging and high-performing AIR applications for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
