Asus Netbook Roadmap Leaked

asus-eee-pcA roadmap of upcoming Asus Eee netbook products has been leaked. It shows an impressive line of netbooks that will be appearing which includes a new 12″ netbook that uses the NVIDIA Ion graphics chip along with a tablet PC that will feature a multi-touch display.

Prices for these new netbooks and tablets are in the $300 – $500 price range too making them very affordable.

Asus have a number of great netbook PC’s on the market and thanks to strong sales figures this year for netbooks in general they are bringing them out at the right time too.

The first netbook mentioned is the Asus 1201N and that will feature a 12 inch screen, an Atom N270 processor, a generous 2GB of RAM which is a nice change from the usual 1GB we see in netbooks and a 250GB hard drive. Other features that are the norm are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The Asus 1201N will cost $500 when launched mid next month in October.

Asus are also launching a couple of improved netbooks from the 1005HA range that includes the 1005HA-P and the 1005HA-M. Differences here are the larger 250GB hard drives that are included. Each of the new 1005HA netbooks will run a version of Windows 7 when launched which is another great move.
