Apple TV Orders Begin Shipping

The Apple TV is beginning to ship according to a number of people who emailed Mac Rumors.

Yesterday, shipping information was changed to “Preparing for Shipment” and then shortly after that to “Shipped”. Indications reveal that the Apple TV for US customers will be arriving from Shenzhen China via Fedex. It is unclear at the moment if other countries will receive the new device from Shenzhen or from another location.

Last week, Apple [AAPL] refunded some shipping charges due to possible commitments not being met. However, it seems that all is still on track for a late September delivery for those who got their orders in first.

We’ll keep an eye out and let you know when shipments start to arrive. Have you pre-ordered and received notification yet?
