Apple Could Sell 28 Million iPads in 2011

Maynard Um with UBS Investment Research has suggested that in 2011, Apple [AAPL] might sell 28 million iPads.

Maynard Um with UBS Investment Research issued a note to investors this week, in which he increased his price target for AAPL stock to $350, up from $340. He said there is no evidence that the iPad is having a negative effect on Mac sales, but it is “adversely affecting the PC industry.”

The report goes on to say that sales of traditional notebooks seem to be pressured by the launch of the iPad.

The 28 million suggestion is also classed as conservative by Um.

As well as speaking about iPad sales for next year, Um also believes that a CDMA iPhone 4 will be launching in January next year.
