Android 3.0 Honeycomb Event Uploaded to Youtube

Yesterday saw the official unveiling of Android 3.0 Honeycomb. This new version of Android 3.0 has been designed for tablet computers although we heard recently that it isn’t restricted to just tablets.

The unveiling has been uploaded to YouTube and in the video, you’ll get to see the Motorola Xoom tablet demonstrated along with a number of features such as how the email system works. Google also describe a new system that Google calls fragments. Fragments are used to put together apps so that when Android 3.0 runs on a smaller device, parts can easily be pulled out such as the preview pane when on a smaller screen.

The video is just over 50 minutes in length, so take a look now if you have some spare time.
